A Turk cut me up today

Well, I guess I can cross Derby off the list of possible blades that might be good for me. I've been using Red IPs for the last couple of weeks (and they've been working really well for me), and decided to throw a Derby in for my morning shave today.

It was absolutely horrid. Lots of weepers, horrible razor burn on my neck. I made it through two passes and gave up because my face was on fire. The Derby blades are getting tossed in the bin.

Which Derby's the Vertical or Horizon one? Many posts one here about how the Vertical Derby's are not as great. Check the packaging if Derby check which direction Derby is going on the packaging. Just my immediate thought, also occasionally there is a quality control issue so it could of been a bum blade.

The pack I have are verticals. Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten that there are two different types.
