So I told a good buddy of mine about my entry into DE shaving, he says "I was just complaining about the cost of cartridges", thinking he was going to laugh at me I was suprised by his keen interest in the subject.

I told him of my Vintage gillete finds, and he recalls his dad having one, and swore it was still at his home. He called his dad who eventually sent it to him...

yep to both, been in his dad's trunk for almost 50 years!!

his dad went to look for the old one in the medicine cabinet, and remembered he had this one...!! My friend doesnt want to use it!! "It may be a collectors item" I said "yes it is, i'll buy it"..But I will sell him on breaking out this 1964 beauty and treat his face to a proper shave!

That is a good start, now to the brush ...
