Both the Mixed Midget and the Bambino aren't very stout brushes, so a good thick lather keeps them deformed. I straight shave and prefer my lathers thin and watery, so I don't notice.

If you want a very stout travel sized brush, the Omega 40033 makes no compromises with respect to backbone.

Yes, not problem with the 11047. I'll check out the 40033.
