I have been enjoying the ws experience for several months. I have a 34-C and a Rooney silvertip, style 2, both of which are great.I have accumulated soaps and creams and either wash with glycerin soap (Whole Foods 365) or use Castle Forbes pre shave after hot water rinsing. I have been working through my blade sampler. I first tried Feather too early on and had nicks and cuts. I tried again after about a month with a better reult but still some nicks. I finally thought I had my "keeper" blade when I tried Gillette 7 0'clock sharp edge, but I thought I should give Feather another shot today as my technique has improved. Wow. A bss and no nicks. Now I will alternate between the 2 for a while and make a decision. My question is, How do you classify the sharp edge compared to the Feather and how do the other Gillettes compare? I did use the Silver Blue but not as good for me as the sharp edge.
As an aside, it is a little scary when your last thoughts before falling asleep are what set up you will use tomorrow.
