A nice soap for my OS mug

Evening folks

I recieved my Old Spice mug today and i am wondering which soap to put in it?

If purchasing online i would rather it was in the Uk or EU as cheaper than the US.

Suggestions are welcome

You can put any soap you'd like in it. Just take the soap puck, grate it up, and press it into the mug.

A vintage Old Spice puck or Mitchell's Wool Fat would be my top choices.

I put some Calani soap in mine. Gentleman scent. It comes in a box and is very solid (not moist) but it's pliable and can easily be smooshed into the bottom of the mug. Mine nearly fit anyway.... just had to smoosh up the edges a bit. Barbiere di Figaro carries it as well as Royalshave:

Exactly, you can purchase any soap you want and grate it into the mug if it doesn't fit.

I grated up some MWF into mine. I love it!

I put in mike's natural in mine. One has bay rum and one has peppermint and rosemary. Peppermint and rosemary is actually in a seafroth mug and is tied with hungarian lavander as my favorite soap at the moment.

I mashed up an Arko stick into mine. When that's gone I plan to get some Mama Bear's Aged Spice to melt into it.

Seeing as you are in Scotland, I would suggest Palmolive shave sticks (fantastic product at a bargain price), MWF (Mitchell's Wool Fat), Tabac, or any soap from D R Harris. Please let us know what you choose and don't forget to come back with a photo. We love photos!

Palmolive stick smooshed or grated would be right in line with the legendary parsimoniousness of the Scots but that is, in many cases, just a legend and not borne out by the facts. Some of the most generous men in the world came from above the Tweed. I'm hesitant to reccomend MWF because sheep are closely associated with a terrible time for the Scots, the Clearances. Ah, honor the long-standing bond between the Scots and the French with one of their fine products. And long may your lum reek with other men's coal.

I'm currently using Haslinger in an Old Spice mug.

Currently I have it filled up with grated up Klar Kabinet. You can try some of that if you like very gentle florals.

My stick has lost most of it's scent so i had to go out and buy a bottle of lemon cologne
