I can't say enough good things about Doc226, Alfredo. He has been an invaluable resource to me as I have made the switch from DE to straights. He has honed two razors for me at no charge, let me borrow different razors with different grinds, tolerated my endless questions, and most recently, given my new Hart razor a face lift. His generosity and knowledge appear limitless.
My Hart did not arrive shave ready so I asked Alfredo if he would hone it for me. He was happy to do so, plus this gave him an opportunity to try a Hart razor for himself. We were discussing the razor today and he commented the scales were very lightweight, and I had to agree, the maples scales I had chosen were indeed, very light compared to the heft of the blade. He surprised me with a fantastic custom scale job. I am simply blown away. Alfredo, you are the best, my friend. I can't thank you enough.
