Several years ago I had a job as a sales rep for a company that deals in armor products. The products are sold to police departments all over the country and the world for that matter. Being retired with over 36 years in law enforcement, this was the almost perfect job to be doing, and I was very comfortable doing it. When the downturn in the economy happened everything slowed down, and the position was terminated. I went on to other things to occupy my time, but I always missed the interactions and the talking via email and phone with departments and other law enforcement members. Well just the other day I got a call from the same company, and they wanted me back. It seems that now they've developed an armored SWAT vehicle, and they want someone to handle sales for it. The hours are great, and the commission is fantastic. Its a natural for me to do this. For over 20 years any of the SWAT vehicles around have been made by just a couple of firms, with one firm having probably 90% of the business. That firm is located right here in the same town as the one I'll be working with now. So my firm is the new kid on the block, but a firm with a really nice product. So we'll be like Avis, we'll be trying harder. Anyway, this is a great opportunity for me, and is something that should prove very rewarding. I made a first call to a department in North Carolina that I had some dealings with before, and they said they were looking for another SWAT vehicle. Looks like I'm off and running right away. I'm really excited about this opportunity.

Thanks for all the replies, and for sure we can arrange a group buy, just the thing for tooling around the neighborhood. Gets 6 miles to the gallon, diesel. And yes, I'll be able to take one out as needed.
