Restoring a 6/8 Sheffield Blade The Celebrated American Razor Philadelphia Works .

Never heard of the maker S.E.T. REALY.EGR.U&F UNIVERSALLY SHEFFIELD

Cleaned blade up than went to the hones .Finished her on one of my J-Nat stones with DMT Slurry

Will clean up and lightly coat the pressed leather scales with neatsfoot oil .After I do a test shave .

Time for a Seveneighth stupid question :

The spine looks smiling, the new bevel looks beautifully straight. How did you manage that?

Razor was not properly honed over the years .Destroying the smile .I actually prefer a smiling razor .I just had to reset bevel and hone her .Razor was already straight .Shaves great .Smooth as silk .
