To be fair, 3 were given to me so its not like I am in a buying frenzy.
But 6 razors, 4 brushes and 3 bowls/mugs is a lot more stuff than I thought I would have.

That's a very nice little fleet of razors! :thumbup1:

After about one month of DE shaving I found myself at a similar point where I asked myself if I should try to stop buying razors. But then I also asked myself why I should stop as long as I have space to display them, don't have to cut back any activities or acquisitions, don't put in danger neither my future nor my mental health... Since then I keep buying razors that really fit my taste. Each month I'm buying less now, but nothing will keep me from buying one when I think it would be a great addition to the crowd.

This forum is dangerous :w00t:. It has made me to wish to have a Tech. After those two razors I ordered, I would definitely not be allowed to waste any money on a Tech.

I think I've cured my RAD, but it took longer than five weeks!

The problem I have is getting all of my razors in the rotation. I only shave three days out of any given week, and I like to use the same razor/blade for the entire week. I just finished my first week with a short-comb NEW, and just got awesome shaves with it, so I might be stuck on it for a while, trying different blades to see how they work.

I also just purchased a 40's Super Speed, so I need to work that one in at some point, especially since I've never used one before.

NingYupOwaDat: Yep. And now a Sodial is also on its way. But that one is cheap (1.73 EUR inklusive shipping)

Think of it this way; at least you are not wasting your money on wine, women and song... :a8:

Although, there are those who would insist money spent on wine, women and song is an investment, not a waste!

For me, it isn't the razors so much as it is the different creams, blades and aftershaves that I want to try and have.

You've got a nice variety of razors. If I may, you need to try a NEW (both Long-Comb and Short-Comb), and a slant.

That's a very good start. So now there is no reason to stop . There are so many wonderful razors waiting for you . Not only DE's. There are SE's , Straights, Hones , Strops, Brushes and who knows what else .... Take a deep breath and "JUMP "

Whenever I see someone post something along the lines of "I would be allowed to buy any ....." it just makes me cringe. I can't fathom being an adult and being told I couldn't spend a relatively small amount of money on something. I am not judging because everyone's situation is different, but it just makes me sad. Really sad.

You do need to try the New. I have the LC version and it is quickly becoming my favorite razor. You have a nice little collection going there. Congrats.

This.
I don't think I have asked permission to buy or felt the need to explain a purchase in my adult life. As you say, everybody in in a different boat but on my ship it doesn't work that way. And in return I ask no questions on what she buys. Its really up to her.

Now you guys have me thinking about a new..... It never ends, does it.
