4-sided Pasted Paddle Strop

I saw in one of Joel's previous posts that he used a 4-sided paddle strop with abrasive diamond pastes varying from 3 to .25 microns for maintaining a straight razor, greatly reducing the need for honing with stones or professionally. He liked Tony Miller paddles which are no longer available. What are some good alternatives or are these type paddles still available elsewhere? Thanks

Or just make your own. They aren't very complex, really. Hardest part is probably picking the material you want to use as a stropping surface.

i use balsa (that i carefully lapped flat on 1200 grit paper, so its like glass) on my DIY paddle strop.

it works a treat
