What's new

$4 for two razors. What are they?

After a perusal of a local antique store yesterday, I manage to find two vintage Gillettes for two dollars each. I have not cleaned them up at all, but they do appear to be in functional condition. I believe that the silver is an early superspeed, while the gold might be a goodwill. The only markings on the gold are "Made in U.S.A." in one corner, with the Gillette logo in the opposite. There is no head marking.

The silver has no letter nor number, with "pat. no's on package" going round the handle. It also features the same markings in two corners, with "Reg U.S." and "Pat Off." in the other two.

Am I right on the models? Do you have any idea of the year? No matter the outcome, the price was certainly right! $IMG_4691.jpg$IMG_4696.jpg$IMG_4693.jpg$IMG_4697.jpg

Yep, that's an Old Type and a '41 Ranger Tech. Sweet find, and at that price, you stole them.

The lotto is up to like 400 million so get your keister down to pick up a ticket while your luck is still hot.
It looks like that 41 RT should clean up nice and that one alone would be at least 10 times what you put up for both.
Enjoy them both.
