What's new

3D Razor!

Been there done, that, got the shirt... still the pictures don't quite come into full focus.

Try this: look at something across the room. Hold one finger up about a foot away from your face. You'll see two fingers. What's happening is that your brain is now seeing exactly what your eyes actually see, that is, your finger from two slightly different perspectives. Pay attention to the feeling you get in your eyes as you focus on one finger and then the other. With just a few minutes of practice you'll be able to hold "both" fingers in focus and you'll be able to see it from different perspectives

Now look at the vertical line between the pictures and just keep looking relaxed. You will need to resize the pictures so that they fill the screen, but don't overfill it. You will start to see a new picture forming at the line. Just keep looking at the new image and relax, and what will happen is that each of your eyes will see one picture, and your brain will create a new one consisting of the two superimposed one on top of the other.

Your eyes are not getting crossed or anything like that. Your eyes will be staying exactly right, what happens is that your brain starts to create a new image out of the two different images that each of your eyes is actually seeing.

And if you're like me, after a while you might even notice that there's yogurt in the picture.
