Tonight after such a very long time without using my Rocca set I decided to take this first chance with a new blade to finally use it again. It felt soooooo good, the larger gap of the Rocca compared to last nights R89 was efficient enough to leave me with a BBS. The soap, razor and blade just came together to produce a superior shave tonight.

Post Shave: Nivea Hyaluron Gel

Tonight I started the shave with the R89 and only realised half way through that with the GSB I should probably try the Rockwell 6C. It would probably give much closer shaves than the R89, but it also has the blade clamping to keep it comfortable.
The soap is also very slick, it is a pity I can't be sure if it is tallow or not, but it seems to prefer a wetter lather than the Barbaccio I just finished. It also needs less loading, other than the scent which seems to linger after the shave even after applying aftershave.
