Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC.84 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #2
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Proraso Sensitive Balm

Used Opuntia for SV Saturday, and got a luxurious bowl-lather. The Astra had smoothed out, for an easy near-BBS second shave.

Applying the Proraso is underwhelming, but I can't argue with the end result. ✓

Sorry folks, didn't get a picture for tonight, but I decided to go back to the trusty Moka-Express to lather the Barbaccio. I have to admit that I do enjoy the feel of a silvertip badger to a boar and find it easier to get a quality lather into the bargain. The first lather though was a little drier than it should have been, but a drizzle of water on the brush easily solved that.
As for the blade I think it performed better tonight than last night, so my technique must have been a little off then. Overall I was very pleased tonight.

Thats quite the praise...especially on a satin/matte finished razor.

My Bismarck's face isn't polished either, but the goldwash works miracles.

Shave was alright but I just now reset the bevel and worked my way through my own progression.
