WILLIAMS !
For me, Williams is as well behaved as any other soap/ stick.
I used it after a week (atleast), and without blooming, it gave good lather.
Cold water shave was very refreshing.
The usual suspects, I brought my RazoRock Beehive as it was getting neglected.

Soap: Speick, bowl-lathered
Brush: Men-U boar
Razor: Rockwell 6S, R3, Astra SP #6
Post-shave: Nivea 2-Phase Lotion.
A low-effort Friday shave. R3 hardly feels like it is doing anything at all, but the stubble still disappears. Got an irritation-free DFS.
Preshave: Hot washcloth, no oil
Soap: Speick, bowl-lathered
Brush: Men-U boar
Razor: Rockwell 6S, R3, Astra SP #6
Post-shave: Nivea 2-Phase Lotion.

Still uninterrupted shaves, but had to shave through a few days with a sinus infection this week. Not fun.

Preshave: Hot washcloth, glycerine
Soap: MWF, bowl-lathered
Brush: Men-U boar
Razor: GC.68 SB, Astra SP #2
Post-shave: Nivea Balm.
I was only aiming for an easy DFS, but got better than that. The .68 game changer is good enough for the whole job on one day's growth, but feels almost as mild as the Rockwell R3 plate. I applied the ATG chin-shaving hints that I'd read in one of the other threads, to good effect.
I'm not sure if applying a couple of drops of glycerine as preshave made much of a difference. The idea was to improve hydration.

I got some irritation around the neck area today,y impatience is to blame.
It's silly, like I look forward to the shave and when I actually start shaving, I want efficiency (probably too much).
I knew BBS razor will take some time, but no, it had to be a 3 pass shave, so there I went, on the buffing route, hence irritation.
By my understanding, I'll either go for a slant (Fatip or Wunderbar) or Single edge, because the gentle razors quickly eat up my patience.

Think you'll like it. It's a great looking razor for starters but more importantly it's a great performer. Pretty efficient, with plenty of blade feel that prevents you from accidentally using sloppy form.I'm honestly thinking of doing so, it's a very possible option for me.
