My new years resolution is not to get so hung up on SOTD pictures, though how long that lasts remains to be seen. Tonight I went back to the 3017 grind with the EJ Limes and Pomegranate. Lathered away with the Moka-Express but just couldn't get it right, it was either too dry or too watery and the Polsilver was a bit rough. I even opened up last night's weeper, binned the blade after only 12 shaves in protest. I was glad to get to the end of the shave and I hope the rest of the years shaves go better than this.

Shave #1. This WR3 has overtaken my WR1 as my Sunday razor, the one day of the week where I most need a smooth face with minimal time to shave and can't afford weepers. Really a remarkable razor.

I forgot to change blade for the new year, but got a perfectly good shave out of the KCG on its 9th use.

The shimmed-up GC.84-P seems to be comfortable to use 7 days a week.

How is that wall mount regarding DE razors?
I'me seen them on AliExpress but on all pictures they are with cartrige razor.
Or it's different one that you are using

You are right, they are meant for cartridge razors. But a little thumb prying and they fit DE's as well.

I liked them so much I bought 6 more!

This is a thread for anyone who would enjoy the challenge of shaving every day in 2023, or for anyone who shaves daily and would enjoy sharing the journey with others. Who knows what a year holds! Lots to learn from each other and create one wee spot in the world that doesn't bring anxiety.

How is this a challenge? I am not in, as I usually shave around 370 times per year. 4-5 times a year I am not satisfied with the (lack of) closeness of the morning shave and will do a quick 1 pass in the evening.
