2-band recommendations?

I have had my eyes on 2 band brushes. My hope would be something large, but I am open to all suggestions. Those Simpson chubby's sure are lookers.
How about buying knots online? TGN has some, but nothing all that large. Where else can I find a nice 2 band knot?

At that size your only choices (that I am aware of) are the Chubby 2 or 3 or Shavemac D01 two band, or as Ignatius suggested the new Rooney Heritage Stubby XXL or XXL. The new Stubby's just got announced yesterday so they are a bit of a mystery at this point. If you could hold off till early next week I (among other forum members) have one coming in and would be more than happy to give you my thoughts as compared to the Simpson and Shavemac. I have both so I can give you a more informed recommendation at that point.

For now the Simpson brushes two band hair is very cottony. They have large diameter hair that gives them great back bone and tips that when properly broken in are very nice. The bulb shape of these brushes is a bit odd for face lathering but once broken in is very nice and feels flatter than it looks like it should.

The Shavmac hair is silky smooth and the build quality is second to none. I cant say as much about the knots as you can custom order them and the handle to your taste.

Both are excellent options, but again I urge you to hold off a week and get some feedback on the third possibility.
