Hello gents, my goal is to collect my dad's, mom's, sons and my own birth year razor and engrave their names on the top plates/silo doors. I already have my mother's and I think I could make my Muhle R89 my youngest son's razor (2010) but for the most part I'm having trouble finding a 1928 razor (dad) and a 2006 (my 6 year old.) Any recommendations/input/feedback? Thanks ahead of time.

The only razor available from 1928 with a serial number would be a 'New Improved' with a serial number starting with 1C- ? That won't be an easy task to find BUT it will be fun ^^
For 2006 and 2010, ask members to sell you a razor they have purchased brand new these years.

The 1928 New Improved razor would have this serial number 1C-94800C on the razor. ( there was no dates on razors btween October 27 1927 August 28 1928). The OLD TYPE was also made from 1921 to 1929.
For 2006 years you have to go modern like a Muele-pinsel r41( they switched names to Muele after 2006)

Thanks for the feedback guys, I googled the serial number you gave me and I got some hits for "Gillette tuckaways."
If anybody else got some feedback/input or know where I can find these year razors please give me a heads up, thanks.
