10 shaves in

I'm about 10 shaves into my new habit/hobby of DE Wet Shaving. A couple comments.

When making Lather, Proraso in a Bowl, More water is needed than I initially thought. I make really good Lather now.

Using Proraso shave cream as a pre-shave and letting it soak in while I make my bowl of lather really improved my shaves.

I have a problem in that I can't seem to stop until I've cut down every last whisker. I'm talking 1 pass WTG, 1 pass XTG, 1 pass ATG and then I rub a thin layer of lather with my fingertips, feeling for stubble and touching up wherever it is. BBS every time but this is not for the weak.

I'm not bleeding much any more but the after-shave witch hazel is like rubbing my face with gasoline and lighting it. Unfortunately, I kinda like it.

Is that wierd??

Some day I'll try that. Right now, I'm using a 70/30 mix of Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva.

I gotta work on the ADs. You know, 2 weeks ago, I had no Razors or any of the other things for wet shaving. I had been using Electric for years. Now, I have 25 Vintage Razors, 3 Brushes, some Creams, After Shaves, and i'm ordering Blades like they are gonna stop making them.

I didn't expect to catch insanity.

I love using a splash. It doesn't always burn. With more experience now, I feel it burns less. My technique must be improving with time!

Man you got it bad huh? I thought I was bad. I am waiting on my fourth razor, a ball end tech from ebay. But I have paraphernalia like crazy now & no place to store it, so I'm working out of a USPS box haha!!!
