Voskhod DE Blades

Item Description

I ordered some blades from tryablade.com and one of them was Voskhod. From what I gather they are made in Russia. Last night was my first shave with one and it was probably the worst blade I've tried to date. I must however say that I did have a one day stubble but with my Feather or SuperMax blades it's never a problem. I only shaved about 4 strokes before I gave up on the blade, there was a lot of tug when shaving. When running my finger across the blade it does not feel sharp at all. I will however try the blade again tonight to give it another chance and will post the results.

Pros: Nice and Sharp
Cons: Doesn't last as long as some other brands.
I tried this blade out in my Weishi-9306-vs-Merkur-34c experiment, and I have to say I received a close, comfortable shave with these. They don't give much audio feedback though, but that might be because my lather was particularly slick and I started out pre-treating my face with an almond-castor-oil blend. I wouldn't recommend using these in the milder Weishi, but a good heavy Merkur razor should bring out the sharpness of the blade.

Pros: Cheap,smooth,sharp enough.
This blade surprised me.
Due to some bad reviews I was avoiding them.
First couple of shaving moves in first passes you may feel a bit of tugging but in later moves you will feel perfect slide ,shaving with no irritation.
This is a perfect blade for guys with sensitive skin.
