There are several reasons why I use this after shave. Back when I didn't know how to shave and used the wrong products (like those extra sharp double edge blades, I use Persona now and am going to switch to a straight razor in the future) I would never consider this. However, after conquering all that I have realized that I just don't need any of these balms or any aftershave that is ultra moisturizing. Back when I had those shaving problems Then Sharps is also oil-free and free of drying alcohols, which for me all cause zits. So since it is the best product I have found so far for my skin, and the fact that it is made in the USA it is now my number one aftershave.
