Master Well Lilac Vegetal

A beautiful, inexpensive alternative to Pinaud's Classic Lilac Vegetal

Item Description

This aftershave has really nice skin conditioning, a brisk but not overwhelming burn and a lovely skin feel. The fragrance is very much a sweet lilac with possibly some other floral notes, but not particularly definable. It lasts about 2-3 hours on my skin.
I think those of you who might be turned off by Clubman's version of Lilac Vegetal might be really pleased with Master's take on it, since the accords are simpler, and there is no "animalic" tone to it like some people find in the previously mentioned aftershave.

On one other note: The first time I tried this, I found it to smell quite "soapy"..too much so, but not the second time. This might be one of those aftershaves that needs to breathe some before it smells as it should.

Overall fragrance vote 8/10
Skin Feel: 7/10
Skin conditioning: 7/10

Not as legendary as "the veg"
Pros: scent
Cons: duration
Master's Lilac Vegetol has the similar lilac notes as its more famous relative, Pinaud's Lilac Vegetal, but lacks much of the earthiness that makes Pinaud's scent so intriguing. For those who aren't chosen, the Vegetol might make the perfect substitute.
