Got this new old stock 7/8 Dovo from Jim at vintage blades llc (superb service by the way) a few months ago, and I've really been enjoying it. Sure... it doesn't have a super fancy handle - but just look at 'er - just a really good looking, solid razor...
They don't make jimps like this anymore....
Really a gorgeous razor.
So - how does it work? Well - outstanding actually, in fact, every bit as good as a 7/8 TI, maybe even a touch better! Just an outstanding vintage razor! These are realy gems - and are a TREMENDOUS deal, as they are built every bit as superb as a Puma, Dubl Duck, etc from the same time period - yet quite a bit less expensive.
If you can find one.... pick it up, as these are superb, well balanced shavers!
