I really love the "cool factor" of this razor... as nothin' beats saying to your buddies "I shave with a craftsman." They are good looking, GREAT shaving, and very interesting conversation pieces.
Only 2 gripes.... I hate gold tangs/spines, as they are just rust magnets, and the worked shoulders making honing/stropping a little "different." Other than that, this is just a really superb, mirror polished razor, with perfect balance, and an incredibly delicate edge. These are wonderful collectors items, greatly undervalued/priced on ebay (these should command prices as high as a puma, dorko or duck) - and are a really wonderful value if you can find one in good shape.
A+ shavers, A+ lookers, and just a ton of fun to have around. I give these suckers
