You kind of get all the positives of both length and width in a form factor that is very comfortable to use in the hand. I always say the same thing to ppl looking to buy new pieces, email maurice at ardennes. They bend over backwards to be helpful.
My 130 x 70 LV is a favorite - I don't mind smaller or larger though. However they come is usually fine by me.
130x70 is a great size. Good for circles, x-strokes, hand held or on the bench.

I'm generally not picky about shapes or size. I'm not hot on 3.5-4" sort of soap bar shaped ones, but that is about it.
This one is pretty well a bar of soap.

I could live with that, it's just about my favorite vein of coticule. If that were a la grise I'd want to throw it at a wall if it were my primary stone..
With really hard, slow ones, I kind of like them thinner, but it's all good.
last one I saw, I bought....
5x2.5 is just wonderful... If the ardennes ppl lurk here cut more...
