So it was you Ben! You are one of the people who got the Proraso Red before I could :( . Enjoy it, I ended up with some in a recent purchase of some stuff and unfortunately it is slightly used which means not as many shaves as I could have gotten :( . I love the stuff though!

And Marcel, very nice, I would love to find a Darwin razor (a couple of their models I have seen). I think that is one of the coolest looking ornate handles they make. Certainly a design you don't see often and that is what makes it cool IMHO. Can't wait to see it polished up and can't wait to hear how it shaves :) .

Looking forward to giving it a try. I use and enjoy Prosao green and the 400ml A/S, but I'm hoping not to like the red too much, because as you know it's hard to find!

I finally got round to buying a Tony Miller strop, a 'New 2 1/2" Old No. 2 "Old Timer" Steerhide Strop with Handles' with genuine linen 2nd component:

Also a Rolls Razor in unused condition:

Yesterday I was browsing through some antique stores in my local area and found a 1949 Gillette Super Speed with original case, instructions and never opened 10 pack of Gillette Blue Blades for a GREAT price. The razor is in such good shape it looks like it was never used! (the camera is not doing the razor justice).

Beautiful Brush!

I'm interested in hearing how it works for you. Size zero is the perfect size for small brush guys!

I have to say this brush is becoming my favorite. Perfect size with the right amount of backbone and softness.

I highly recommend buying one if you can.

This month I added a size 16 to my Plisson herd. (I now have size 12, 16, 20 and 24 in HMW with horn handles - this completes my line up!).

Went to Planete Rasoir on Wed, Plisson 12, wood handle, pure badger to start off with. Haven't tried it yet, I have to wait until I get home!

WOOT!, WOOT! - great score I say

I got some C&E Nomad soap, an NOS 1954 gold plated Tech, an NOS 1964 Super Speed in a Vacation Travel kit (all NOS and the SunUp AS smells great) which is my first birth year buy, I am waiting on delivery of a cased (possibly unused) 1960 Super Speed with unopened Blue blades and two pucks of Chelsea's soap (Arabian Spice). I will add that I'm unsure of the '60 SS because while it had two good photos, the seller knew nothing about DEs, just that it appears to not have been used. Can't wait to get it and make my own assessment. If it's mint it'll be part of my Dad's Christmas gift

Please, somebody- tell me you've seen one of these before or that this exists.

It literally fell out of a box of razors I got in the mail today. I saw something I thought was strange when the lot was listed, but a TAN TIP? It's like a Black Tip with zero pigment in the nylon and looks aged yellow through and through.

Pinch me!

Does it have any markings?? I haven't seen one before looks cool though! also looks like it may be silver plated? looks to be tarnished like a silver plated razor would be.

Got this for $10.

I'm a face-lather but I needed a small mug to wet my brush.

From advise I got from B&B members I now just soak the tips of my shave brush instead of soaking it in the sink.

The results have been a less floppy brush and better lather.

Also, check out the instructions.
