THURSDAY MORNING; Nothing fancy: restored silver plate brush with it's covered mug, burma shave puck, Crown razor 3/4 square point extra hollow ground, walking horse English bridle strop with a very well worn vintage canvas hose strop, such a great shave completely BBS which i do not usually strive for. it just came easy. nothing from Portugal so i guess it is the rest of the world or the USA? tom

The enigma that is MW soap reemerged. My past few shaves with it, I'd gotten good lather. Today, in the amount of time it took me to put down my brush and grab the straight, the lather was already breaking down significantly. Halfway through my first pass, I looked over at the brush sitting there on the counter and you would have sworn it had not touched the soap yet because there was no lather apparent on it. Despite the lather consistency, I had no problems with the shave, emerging from the den with a BBS face and supple/moisturized skin. I don't understand, but I'm not going to complain as long as the results are this good!
