So I experimented with another product instead of Nanny's SS and turns out I was right! Todays Post Shave result was BBS. Then again when using the Gillette Tech for touch ups, your skin feels a bit raw after that. But the first pass was just smooth. Its possible that the razor is mild so it causes more irritation. Usually when I use my merkur 1904 or EJ BChrome I don't have issues with my skin feeling raw. Have a nice day friends!

I grabbed the Simpson Chubby by mistake, knowing it's a superior brush for soap and not for cream. At least I prefer it with soap. Ah well, a senior moment, what can I say?

My plastic jars came in from USP, so all my soaps now have a home. The 89mm low profile size seems to be perfect for most soaps, but I did get some 70mm low profiles that work perfect for smaller Edwin Jaggar Sea Buckthorn And Colonial Conk pucks.
Still learning how to properly lather a soap. One thing that seems to be fairly similar between various soaps and creams for me is when the lather is the right consistency, it has a certain thud sound as the brush spanks the skin. I did attain a nice spank and good results from the Provence Sante.
It took a bit of gas/brake with the water and soap ratio this morning, but it did build into a cloud of slickness. The Futur set on 2 with a Derby needed less pressure, but I figured that out later in the shave. Set it to 1 for the head shave and it produced super smooth results.
