This is the same razor as Gillette NEW De Luxe Tuckaway but packaged for the women's market. The handle is similar to the New Improved Tuckaway, but this model was sold with the later NEW head. This razor was available in cased sets, made in different colors of nacreous catalin: pearl (natural), coral (pink), and jade (green). Like other De Luxe razors, those from 1930-31 were stamped with a serial number that may or may not end in 'D' or 'E'. Known examples go up to at least 150,000. Those from 1935 had no serial numbers or date codes, but if the original blades are available, they may suggest a date.
