Zenith, Boar Brush, Made in Italy- Any info?

Last month I was in Italy and picked up this GREAT brush in a local "Profumeria". It´s a big brush indeed and I like it so much more than the similar (in dimensions) Omega Nr. 49- mostly becasue I don´t care much for the 49´s plastic handle which I think looks eh.. a little cheap..?
This one has a more off white colour which I like more.
Anyway- I browsed around a bit and I got the opinion that a lot of Australians have the Zenith brush. Is the brush targeted mainly to be a sold outside Italy?
Can anyone please cast some light upon this company and answer why this brush manufacturer has very little (if any) air time? The quality is top notch. And it was cheap as well!

No, there's nothing on the web about Zenith brushes, just a Zenit company that makes other types of brushes.
I've checked with the chamber of commerce, with no avail.
It could likely be a sub-brand of Omega.

Hmm. If I remember correctly I think one fellow in one of those threads suggested that the Zenith company is owned by Proraso but I doubt it. (Why should Proraso which is a well established name in it´s own right put out a brush under a obscure name..?)
Apart from the poorly attached screening of label I have to say it´s quality brush all the way. Have used it a lot but it´s still in the "break in phase".

I was searching for a Koh-I-Noor brush, and during my project I came across a fellow in Australia who sells barber and beauty supplies. He was (is?) selling a few Zenith boar brushes on ebay, but not the one I bought from him. I wanted the larger brush, and he emailed me to say he has 4 in stock, so I bought one. Shipping from Australia was only 7 days. The loft measures 27mm by 65mm. The bristles have split marvelously, and it's a beauty. After a thorough breaking-in, I can say it is an excellent brush. Bristle loss during break-in was minimal. The brush now joins my Semogue 2000 and Omega 49 boars on the counter. It is currently impossible to locate a Koh-I-Noor SC68 professional boar brush anywhere in the entire world, as far as I can tell. The manufacturer in Italy and the US distributor have refused to respond to my polite inquiries, but now that I've got this Zenith brush, I don't care. I have a theory with no proof at all, that the Zenith is made by Koh-I-Noor and sold under a private label (Zenith) to the Australian distributor. The handle is a shiny chrome-like finished durable heavy plastic and looks identical to the Koh-I-Noor. The label is a thin black screened ink, that probably won't last very long. My Zenith brush is model B0680A, and the KIH I was looking for is model SC68. Coincidence, I doubt it. I think it's the same brush.

Sounds like a nice brush Gary. Please post some images when you get a chance.

I was lucky enough to pick up a Koh-I-Noor SC68 off the BST a while back as
my first boar brush and it is wonderful brush.

Very well done MrDentini! Thanks a lot! Although they have not put much effort in their site- their brushes (well my only one then:biggrin1:) are truly excellent.
