Here is the case. Smells pretty bad. Has some kind of black tape around the bottom. But latch works well. I want to clean the dust out of it but the interior looks pretty fragile. Any ideas?

Working on the case. Found some old threads on this forum. Great place for information thank you! Here is the double ring after cleaning. I used no polish. Lots of soaks and a baking soda aluminum foil bath.
