What's new

YiWu which has chocolate-like after-taste!

But these are two different teas, from two different Yiwu villages quite far apart. Also one is harvest in spring and the other in autumn.

Hobbes comment is about "Guafengzhai" and this one is "Man Zhuan".

By the way, I have tasted the "Guafengzhai" and I think it is fairly good.

It is not easy to notice the different as they all use the same wrap and only the stamp marks are different. So far Yunnan Sourcing has 4 different road to Yiwu cakes:

Guafengzhai
Da Qiu Feng
Man Zhuan
Ding Jia Zhai

By the way it's going, Scott may ended up having tea cakes from every village in Yiwu.

The last Yiwu I tried tasted like chocolate, too. Then again, I was eating a Nestle's crunch at the time.

Change the subject slightly, I find certain food, chocolate is one of them, goes well with pu'erh. However, after an apple or a bowl breakfast cereal, tea doesn't taste very nice.
