Yet Another New Acquisition

Here's my latest find from today right here online...a 1919 Gillette Military Issue Safety Razor in Very Nice condition for it's age. No brassing, all the open comb teeth are straight. $27.50 shipped.

I love the Gillette military sets and razors. I had been searching for one that said Property US Army and finally found one, a 1918 issue but not as nice as yours. I say it has been through the war and has character. But it's still one of my favorite pieces.

Very nice razor. I also got one last week ser # J 8529. It shades a tad bit more aggressive than a NEW.

Very nice find! Are these nickel, or silver plated? I need to clean mine up a bit (also 1919, Property Of U.S. Army), but am not sure if the plating is even still there (came with a lot of 12 razors when i picked up a display case).

Mine will certainly never look like yours again though, that is a beautiful thing.
