I was bidding on that one....but they typically go way out of my price range. I got mine off another B&Ber many moons ago for like $50 if memory serves

You can sometimes get lucky and pick one up for $35. Also look for vintage Wrisley or Paislays, which are purported to be rebranded Yardley.

Hey guys, I sold that soap haha. I couldn't use it when I knew it would sell and I could buy a ton of stuff with the profit. I posted pics a few weeks ago when I first got it. I couldn't put it on the BST since I had just made a thread before, so I threw it on the bay to see what it would do. I can't say I'm displeased.

I paid well under the price of a new soap bowl from current English brands.

Great point! I bought a puck of vintage Wrisleys and it shaves just as well...doesn't smell as nice, I think it was kept in Satan's armpit for the last 50 years...but it shaves like a dream
