WWI open comb razor?

I actually picked this up at a flea market for $6 or $8 a couple of months ago. It was literally black when I got it, and I was hesitant to shave with it, figuring I would just keep it as a memento. Well, it cleaned up really nicely, so, after staring at it for all these weeks, I finally decided to load it up with an RPIP for tomorrow morning. And, look! The mirror still works!

Just thought I'd share my excitement.

Sure do, The Old Type Lg Ball shaves very nice. It will give you a close, clean, comfortable shave. Some folks think it to be on the aggressive side but I say it is in the middle.

Two things, make sure the blade is square when you load it and that you tighten it down. You don't want it slipping on you. Some folks will say you need to shim the blade but I have never had the need to.

It will give you a good shave. I think this is middle of the road in the aggressiveness dept. Maybe slightly leaning toward aggressive.
