Would this roast coffee?

I see references to Popcorn poppers for roasting on various forms. One of the below linked poppers is available for for under $10 at Goodwill so I'm wondering if it works for coffee roasting?

I haven't had too much interest to date in this venture but for such an inexpensive buy-in... Maybe. If it will work and is there Monday.

I've not heard anyone use that model as a coffee roaster. Not said to discourage but I cannot find any modifications listed for a dome top popcorn roaster. Most use an enclosed vertical popper like these.

Same here. I've been using the WestBend Poppery II for years and getting great results, so it was no surprise to read the positive review. That's a great link. Thanks for sharing it!
