Would like help identifying this Vintage Gillette

I found this razor today in a local antique barn.
It was labeled as a 1920's Vintage Gillette. After a quick search, most everything tells me to locate the serial number.
I see no such number. Any suggestions on what I might have found or where I can go to get more info?

Thanks,

Lacking the serial number, then if it doesn't SAY somewhere on it that it's a Gillette, it is not. One or the other.

Sorry. Should have added this pic too.
I see the Gillette Diamond logo on lower left, and can faintly make out the letting.
No sign of numbers.
I did read that some years, maybe 1923-1929 had no numbering if they were "regular" line? $photo copy 3.jpg
Sorry for bad cellphone pic.

Sorry guys but I have a bulldog 1914 with the serial number and no Gillette stamp.
Also, look at these Old types from Mr-Razor site.

- No Gillette Stamp 1
- No Gillette Stamp 2
- No Gillette Stamp 3

and there's more.

Yes, it's perfectly normal for older Old Types not to have the logo or "Made in..." stamp under the head, but they would have a serial number (other than the oldest Double Rings). All the Old Types made after the patents expired that don't have serial numbers should have the logo and "Made in..." stamps.

Nice Old Type, Rquisen. I had one for a while, but just couldn't ever get a decent or comfortable shave with it, so it had to go. Thanks for sharing your find!
