would a small crockpot work for keeping lather warm?

keeping lather warm? I've seen these small crock pots at Walmart that are very cheap. It occurred to me that one of those might be useful for keeping the lather warm. wadda ya guys think?:001_smile

I think it would be too hot bro, I think the general consesus is a scuttle

+1 Although I'm still a newb, I've done a fair share of reading about keeping lather warm on this forum and from what I've read most people agree that any cooking implement (crock pot, hot plate etc.) will be too hot and break down the lather. However I have also read that people have been using candle warmers with scuttles/make shift scuttles ( bowls/cups in another bowl/cup) with good results... Of course if you have hot enough tap water or use a electric/stove top kettle a scuttle works just fine.
