My daughter insists upon the inclusion of It's a Small World.:001_tt1:

Just goes to show how different tastes are. I would have listed this group as 5 of the greatest bands ever.
Would that be 'good' taste comared with 'bad'. :001_tt2:
Anything by:

The Eagles
Boston
Styx
Kansas
Reo Speedwagon
"Hair Bands"
"Teenage Pop Artists"
Almost the entire genre of disco
&
Michael Bolton
+1 I can tolerate the Eagles (though I think they're vastly over-rated and Hotel California is rather annoying), but Boston, Styx and Kansas have always been uniquely annoying to me in a special pseudo-sophisticated yet crappy way. Ditto for the rest of your choices! I've also always found 'Baby What a Big Surprise" by Peter Cetera to be very painful to endure. Also, anything by BTO.

Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks.

I was all set to contendly not post and live in blissfull agreement with Johnniegold and Jazzman.

That is until Rush's Trees entered my brain like scissors through the eye.

If Peart had written it as one of his high-handed political allegories it would have been truly awful. But the fact that he wrote and recorded it to be cute transforms it to a level of audio torture that goes way beyond chainsaws, flyback transformers, fingernails on blackboards, or even Fran Drescher.
