Wood bread bowl gets used

Many, many moons ago, I posted on here to get help for my "new" antique wood bread bowl. I was trying to figure out if it had some sort of stain or finish on it, because I certainly didn't want to use it for baking if it did. Someone suggested that the off smell may be because someone before me had used the wrong kind of oil on it. Turns out that was the exact problem.

Since then, I have been making bread 2-3 times a week, using it as a place to let the dough rise. I also use it when I do pizza. Here's a few action shots for your viewing pleasure. Before and after 1st rise.

how did you deal with the wrong oil?

Mind you, I can't remember who told me, but I *believe* it was someone here, and I'm too lazy to go find the thread. I was told to clean it with vinegar. Most of it came off, the rest in subsequent cleanings. It now gets oiled with mineral oil.

Nice looking dough.
My wife makes all our bread too.
Yummy.

Have you ever made pretzels?
I love 'em. big soft ones with a bit of spicy mustard.
