Hi Guys
I should have asked this question before I put two weeks of work into this.
These pictures where taken before I did a any sanding.
After starting with 80 grit to take the pits out, I stepped up to 100, 150, 180, now working on 220.
But, now wondering if the steel in this razor is worth the effort.
My first attempt at a restore, got the razor from ebay, a cheapie, although it is looking a lot better now, I would like to know a little about it, any information anyone could supply would be very much appreciated.
Couple of other questions also, I am planning to take the sanding up to 2000 grit, after that do you still do polishing, polishing compound and buffing wheel?
And, is there some method of telling if you have taken all the sanding marks from the last grit out before stepping up to the next grit.
Thanks
