After thinking about it for a month, I’ve decided to move it on. WR2 1.05 gap, solid bar, WRH2 hollow handle, all basic polished. I’ve had it 9 months, used 3-4 times a month. A few fine scratches on the top cap as per normal with stainless steel (could probably be buffed out), did not use a washer to tighten the handle, otherwise great shape. Ships with original box, cloth etc.
$480 shipped in NA, tracked, insured, PP’d and I‘ll throw 50 GSBs and 50 Nacets, the two best blades for this razor, IMO.
Also available...1960 Gillette 195 F4 Fatboy in very good condition. Still pretty shiny for its age. Solid clicks as adjusted. Knob works fine. Some brassing on end caps and center bar with one slightly lazy door. $60 shipped in NA. Pics in second post.
Is my Wolfman too efficient?
I have waxed poetic on these pages about my WR2 1.05 razor. It is sublime. The mix of efficiency with comfort is noticeably better than anything I've tried. But, it hasn't become a daily driver because it's *too* good. I'm sure those with the larger gaps are snickering, but my problem is...
