Wizamet Jr. P1 DE

I was looking through my shaving box and found one of these in my box. It was PIF'd to me as a birthday present from a friend in England. This razor was made in Communist Poland during the Cold war. It is made of aluminum and is lighter than an aluminum Tech. I shaved with it once a few months ago with favorable results. It is like a slightly more aggressive Tech. It's not that pretty. It has tooling marks on it, the stamping is crooked and half off the base plate, and has some gashes on the razor head. But nonetheless, it is an effective razor.

I will use it again in a few days and see if the results are as good.

Has anyone else used one of these?

Not use the the Wizamet brand but still have the Polish 'LUX' Tech Clone. Stainless handle with a rough stamped out tech type head. Gave an effective shave from what I remember.

I own one Wizamet Jr. P-1. It's not the prettiest razor, very lightweight. But it gives a very nice shave! It has to be impossible to cut yourself with this razor, Wizamet Jr. P-1 gave me my first BBS shave and zero irritation! It truly is a diamond in the rough!

I have 2 of them, The first one I've been using for 5 or 6 years, the second is still in the cardboard box. Definitely one of the best razors I have. It might not look good, actually quite rough workmanship, made of aluminium. I agree it is a bit more aggressive than a tech. One of my favourites.
