Witch hazel or alcohol

Looking mostly at Stirling products for this discussion. I know alcohol splashes and witch hazel each have their place. I have a Stirling AS that has alcohol and witch hazel together. Also, I get razor burn very easily. My question is, if the AS already has witch hazel in it what would be the reason to use the witch hazel only splash? May have worded that weird but hopefully you get what I mean.

The WH products have less alcohol and more WH. According to Stirling, while the AS contains some WH and aloe, it's mostly ethanol.

I quite enjoy the WH products.
