My wife and I just put in an offer on our first house today. We are hoping to hear back soon.

It is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom with a good size yard for our pug. No kids, so I'd finally get to move my office out of the kitchen and have a place for company to stay.

I'm excited and wanted to share it with you guys.

Latest update is that the seller received 3 offers today (house has been on the market for 2 days). Hopefully ours will be accepted. I'll keep you all updated.

Good luck! We just bought our ridiculous manse in August. Same story, just the two of us and two yorkies. It's wonderful to have all of this space and never need to be worried about anything. My brother has his personal room for when he visits, my parents have their private room when they visit. We call this the family compound, if anyone needs a place to get away or just come up and stay, they have their own private room, Internet, cable tv, garage space, etc to alway know they can come and have everything they need or want.

This made me laugh. I keep telling my wife it's probably built on an ancient indian burial ground and haunted by ghosts from the Alamo so we really didn't want it anyway.
