Windsor colognes?

No similarities whatsoever. In regard to Creed, the first release of Windsor, a numbered limited edition sold through Saks, is considerably different from the second widely distributed version. They had it right on the first go and then lost their way.

D R Harris Windsor is a nice product line. I have been using the cream, aftershave, and EdT. Good value but when it comes to scent it is far, very far, from the vastly superior Creed product.

This so often seems to be the case in the fragrance world. Some would say in the shave soap world as well.

I don't know if DRH Windsor is a knockoff, as I don't have Creed Windsor (but I do have Creed Bois Du Portugal and really like it); however, the DRH Windsor is very nice. It's old school and masculine. I always get compliments on it.

Have both, my above post is direct personal experience based, if it helps the OP.

So to bring this back up, can anyone explain creed Windsor to me? I don't want to buy a sample if I won't like it. Is there anything it compares too at all? Maybe chanel bleu Dee chanel, ysl l'homme, or anything that is fairly popular? Also remember, you are explaining this to someone who doesn't know a whole lot about frags necessarily. And another thing, if there is much musk in it, that will be all that I can smell, and all that the cologne projects off of me, and I don't like musk.

DR Harris Windsor is a knock off of Terre d' Hermes to my nose. Neither of which smell anything like Creed Windsor.

Creed Windsor is my favorite of the many fragrances I've accumulated over the years. It smells nothing like D.R. Harris Windsor, and even less like Terre d'Hermes (which smells like grapefruit, flint, woods and isoE). Creed Windsor is predominately a rose and pine fragrance, with cedar, lime and gin underneath. I tend to wear it to special occasions (weddings, Easter etc.) or on those days that I want to feel like a king. When I wear it, I always feel like I should be in charge of whatever I am doing. It makes me feel like royalty.

There is really nothing else quite like it. I have a few other really well done rose fragrances, like Amouage Tribute Attar, Domenico Caraceni 1913 and Montale Black Aoud, but Windsor stands alone.

It isn't what I choose when I want to get noticed. I'm far mor likely to garner compliments with Montale Patchouli Leaves or Creed Aventus, but when I want to enjoy how I smell, Windsor is what I reach for.

The main problem I see is availability. I believe it was a limited edition, and these days it is hard to come by. Good luck scoring some. It's worth it if you can find it.
