Why does my face feel tight unless I put on AS?

If I just wash with water my face feels like it's pulling my face.
BTW I use Nivea Cooling AS.

In my experience a tight feeling is caused by dry skin. An AS balm (like Nivea) should help alleviate that.

The Nivea AS balm on its own works great.
Appling Witch Hazel priour to appling the AS balm just feels wayyyy better.

Yes, sounds like dry skin. I really noticed it after shaving with William's Shaving Soap. Something with Aloe Vera works good for me.
