Why do I always batter my skin if I shave myself again after only one day?

If I wait for 2-3 days or so to shave, then my shaving comes out fine.

But if I shave after only one day (i.e. if I shave every day), my skin always ends up getting battered, as if it just can't handle the pressure of shaving too frequently. This is unfortunate, because I don't really like going out with semi-beard on my face.

Any ideas?

Usually this type of complaint stems from using excessive pressure (in excesse of "None"), incorrect blade angle, or not having mapped your beard. Insufficient beard prep can cause it as well. Please give us some details of your shaving process.
