Who used a fountain pen to cast their vote?

I like having an absentee ballot for a variety of reasons. It's nice to have a good cup of coffee and not feel rushed when voting on some important issues.....and voting for our next president. This year I had the pleasure to use my trusty Pilot 78g medium nib (loaded with Noodler's benevolent Badger Blue) to cast my vote. I just hope it doesn't cause a "hanging chad" type of misunderstanding.
Has anyone taken the privilege of using a fountain pen for voting?

A 78G and BBB, sounds like a winning combo! I'm going to the fire house in the morning, wonder what they will do if there is still no power???

I plan to be there at 6:00 AM tomorrow. I'll have a fountain pen or two with me, no doubt, but will just vote with whatever Sharpie they provide.

I've been voting absentee since 1976 because my job requires traveling. I can never tell where I'll be on any particular day.
It's nice to have time to research when there's a lot of stuff on the ballot to consider.

Just voted. I was at the polls about ten minutes before they opened. If my little Connecticut town is any indication, it will be a busy day. Don't worry, I won't make it any more political than that.

We don't sign in, they just check your ID and put a line through your name on the list. Because it was so busy, they were short of the generic felt tips that they use for the actual voting, and I had to scout around a little for a booth that had one. The pen that I had with me had brown ink, and I don't know how well that would have worked.

Anyway, that's over with.

Now half as wise
Ballot was electronic, but I signed in with a Pilot VP, M nib, with Pelican Edelstein Onyx.

I did.

We had a choice of electronic or paper filing. There was a long line for electronic, and zero wait for paper. When I read "use blue or black ink," the choice was obvious: That pen chained to the desk just wouldn't do.

I signed in with the Edison filled with Ellis Island Blue. And I made sure to comment that I was using an American Made Pen with American Made Ink.

I voted a couple of weeks ago with a crappy Bic disposable that they had at the polls. Today, I spent the morning canvassing and then went to the county courthouse this afternoon to take care of a bunch of paperwork. My trusty '51 filled with Sailor Kiwaguro got a quite a workout.

i too used a fountain pen to sign my name in the books..... used a Platinum 3776 w Noodlers' Black Swan in Australian roses
