Found my razor on 3 and 180 degrees from the position I left it. Did my wife shave her pits at the sink or was there another culprit?! It was my 17 year old. "I didn't shave with it. It fascinated me," he says. I'm guessing it was set on 3 because he adjusted down and found it difficult to adjust back up. I let him know that he ought to open the doors before adjusting the setting.

not unless there's a youtube video... and fortunately there are plenty already.
My pre-teen just picked up a yoyo recently for the first time and instead of playing with it
day and night intially, he spent about the first 2 weeks looking at youtube and now he's
doing all these insane (to me) tricks...
He's also claimed my shiniest Slim for himself (he knows to open doors before adjusting)
as well as one of each badger/boar/horse brush...
Start teaching the young lad!

I already got him a 1904, a Black handled SS, Cella, Proraso, and gobs of blades. He is in!! I just hadn't shown him the Slim yet. He's come a long way from using his sister's disposable in the shower!
I texted him this morning. Still haven't seen him yet today due to work and school stuff.
Before I received it from the eBay seller, I asked for tips on the board. One tip mentioned several times was to open the doors before adjusting the razor. I'm glad to hear about the one that wasn't damaged without opening the doors first.
And I am not the paranoid shaving addict who is super protective of his gear; just a creature of habit.
Now let me see if I still have 27 peanut M&Ms in the bowl on the coffee table. (It is seven inches from the edge of the table.).

And there would be nothing wrong with it at all from it being ajusted. Do you really think these Gillettes are so fragile that pushing up on a thin blade is going to hurt them? But I should let everyone know that my slim is broken but it has nothing to do with being ajusted with the doors closed.
